“We, Denbigh Army Surplus, recently contacted Treble9 to discuss any vulnerabilities, we may be unaware of, that could be exploited.
After a meeting with Henry, I requested that he come to our site to perform an audit, so Henry could highlight any problem areas.
The audit started with a discussion about what I thought were our most important assets; I started reeling off our IT systems and the back-ups we used, talking about our stock and its security.
After I finished, Henry questioned me about the various roles within the business and soon highlighted how important certain members of staff were. The impact on our business was obvious as soon as Henry asked how we could run without them without them for any lengths of time.
It was insights like those, highlighting areas that we hadn’t considered to be “important” in terms of business continuity, that really impressed me about Henry.
His Police background means that he’s very aware of how criminals think and operate, which makes him invaluable when looking at protecting our shop front, stock and site as a whole.
Henry spent over 90 minutes on site, asking questions, making notes and digitally capturing areas that needed addressing.
I’ve not long received his very easy to understand Security Audit. The “Key Findings” section was clear and he’d even researched into which CCTV cameras would suit our site best and have the most impact on potential criminals.
The Audit document also includes a, risk based, traffic light system detailing which areas we should focus on first and in what sort of time frame.
